IR On A Shower Circuit

Hi

Can you please explain how to carry out an IR test on a Shower circuit

Well for a full IR test you would need to disconnect the shower, if the pullswitch/wallswitch has a neon in it you would need to disconnect this also, (joint the feed and load cables in connectors) for the test.

Obviously isolate main CU, disconnect shower cable from terminals and test at 500V between L-N, L-E and N-E.

easy way not to blow the shower to ****!!

turn shower MCB OFF
disconnect shower cable inside shower
turn isolator on (make sure to disconnect neon)
go back to fuse box and carry out L-N L-E N-E tests and record..!!

reconnect shower and relax

no i opened the post and never typed any thing while i was playing freecell then i went back to it
