i have a low reading on a heater circuit. the circuit is feeding just one spur with a wall heater connected. reading are line to earth 1.21 all the rest are fine. please help... also can anyone tell the best way to rcd a 3036 socket circuit. either change board or indivually protect each socket??? cheerss

Sounds like the heater element is gone, or on it's way.
Have you tried testing after the heater has been on for a while?
You could run a lolipop style circuit, come out of the board in 6mm² to an enclosure containing an RCD, and the run the RFC from the enclosure.

Have you tried testing with the heater disconnected?

i have an doing remedial work on the socket circuit which has been tested by somebody else. One of the observations was no rcd protection so i thought that this needed doing. also i have disconnected the heater and stll a poor reading.
cheers
