IR testing on a circuit with aluminum

hello all,

I have got a ring circuit wired in aluminum. just wondered when performing an ir test, is there likely to be any strange results or do considerations have to be taken.
I realise that this circuit needs rewiring but just curious.

So what difference is there, ...if it's copper coated?? ...It's still aluminium cable!!!

I should have said is it tinned copper sorry !!

No there is no weird or strange results, or special considerations to be made when conducting IR tests on Ally cables...

Thanks for that, just wanted toncheck as I have not come across to much aluminium as I have mainly been a new build sparks
