Hi, we have been offered work by a corporate management company to fit pv in a caravan park and im not sure it would comply with mcs scheme. i need some advice as if it's legit, then i could be busy.

basically, they are selling the pv systems to the caravan park owners, and i would design, install, handover etc. the obvious problem is they are not mcs accredited, where as i am. i dont think it will work and the only way around it is for me to work direct to the caravan pk owners and pay the corporate managemnt company commision.

what do you guys think?

cheers
martin

It's only the installer who has to be MCS accredited. As the management company is only selling then its legit. A loop hole but legit. More's the pity.

Unfortunately not. This is why some companies that don't want to adhere to REAL rules can just please themselves.

The companies that pay to be a part of the scheme actually put themselves at a disadvantage.
