Hi everybody, i am new to this forum (just moved from a different forum)

I took the inspection and testing (2391) course 2 to 3 years ago. Supprisingly i found the written test to be pretty easy, the problem was that i had a baby and it was very i'll at the time so never went for the practical test.

I am just wondering if there is a time limit to get the practical side of the test done.

In other words can i take the practical test at a testing centre or would i have to do the whole lot again.

Cheers in advance.

p.s. Tried to contact c&g about this and they where less than helpfull.

2391 is a qualification for life so I cannot see a reason why you cant take the practical only problem is you will probably have to take it at the place you did the theory.

Welcome to the forum

Good luck

Cool hows the Baby . ill be honest i can see a problem with you taking the prctical as once youve done it is done however if youve have been out of the trade for a while i would recommend you resit the whole lot again a refresher although the basic priciples of testing have not changed much but with the change of the regulation it may be a good idea ;)

Thinking about it you will need the C&G 2382 17th edition before you could do anything and as you have been out of the scene for a while I doubt you have it at the moment.

from what i am aware the 2391 has a two year limit between passing both sections. i will try to dig out the details out for you but i am afraid you may have to do the written again.
