hey,

I got my mcs a few weeks ago but I was a little lazy doing the forms etc... I have submitted the info on the mcs website and I have sent the g83 form to the DNO is that all I have to do ?

how do I start to get the feed in tarif... do I get paper work though in the post or am I missing something ?

Thanks

You need to generate the MCS certificate from the website (have you done that yet?), then you need to download the FIT forms either from your energy provider or any FIT provider (My personal choice is Good Energy), fill them in correctly and then send them off, some companies do this online, my preference is paper copy then I hand deliver.

I hope this helps

Hey,

yes i paid £15 to submit on the MCS website and it gave me a certificate number, so I then just have to get a form from EDF (my energy supplier) then I am all done ?

Thanks

You will need to print the MCS form, as the FIT supplier will need a copy of this,
There have been one or two comments on here regarding EDF, I have not used them personally, but as I explained before you do not have to use your energy provider, that is your choice.
Make sure that all your forms are filled in correctly, as if you have any mistakes they can bounce it back to you and you may then miss out on any FIT deadline (IE 3rd March), that is why I prefer to deliver by hand and have them checked, again, that is your choice.

I hope this helps.
