You will get many positive posts i think about this meter. I have seen one and used it for a weekend and was very very pleased with how easy it was to use etc.

Ok... we all want to be the "nuts" and have a nice yellow Box in our van! But its nice to step away from the crowd.

who wants yellow? the metrel does everything, price is very good. free voltage tester. go for it.

Hi, bought this tester in December and it really us great. Does all required tests, easy to use and free voltage tester is a bonus. Good web site to use too.

I like my yellow box, I have lost count of how many customers comment about is that name a reflection of why your wiring works!

That said I have used a metrel and hated it! Used a few Kewtecks and disliked them also. I guess its what you get used to?

Fluke or Megger for me.

the robin testers i used to have may not have been all singing and all dancing but they didn`t take me weeks to suss out like this space shuttle techno i have now

hahahaha! my old Charge Engineer in navy used to eat Cheese and Drink coffee all the time... hey never slept and when he did he had freakish nightmares!!

I personally use a Fluke. But last week on the 2391 course i used their Metrel, well impressed, very easy to use after the fluke. the display is very clear as well, it tests and stores RCD results, you just keep resetting it, ramp test as well, PEFC/PSCC without moving leads about, just turn the switch. Nice and strong casing. All in all if i were in the market for a new one it would be in for serious consideration, it is almost as easy to use as my old Robin MFT.

Fully agree Phil, I have had my Fluke about a year and still the instructions come out. Had the Robin and read them once then lost them.
