How many cables can you get into a 4 way wylex rewireable fuse board.
I have done a few CU swaps and the most i have ever come in one of these old boards is 12 cables a mixture of 1.5 and 2.5's,
But today......wait for it 21, yes 21 cables crammed into a 4 way wylex board, and 2 of them were 6mm!.
I take my hat off for the ingenuity of the person who did it all, he got cables through the top, back, sides and god knows where else. But inside what a mess. It looks a lot better now with a shiny new 17 way Wylex dual split board.
There was a lot of cables cut off in the old board and not terminated, and i have only used 11 of the ways on the new board.
I wish i could upload photos so i could show you, it had to be seen to be believed.
