carrying out pir on various circuts came across 32a isolator single phase for coffee machine the cable is ho7 high tuff rubber multi core flex 2.5mm they have double the 2.5 together ie 2 x 2.5 for phase and nuetral i flagged it up but engineer says its ok just strikes me as bad electrical practise not convinced it is ok any thoughts chaps
 
I would give no code
The regulation,in my opinion,is saying that isolation and/or switching not allowed in those conductors

523.8 then explains the current carrying capacity of conductors fulfilling that requirement
As long as they are the same length and csa all seems well
