Went to a job today, in a laundry room of an elderly persons development, with nothing else in the room, only washers and dryers.
The previous set up was a pay meter plugged into a socket, then a flex from the pay meter hardwired to the washing machine.
The old machines have been removed, and I was asked to alter the set up, so the pay meter was fed from a fused spur, and then the socket was supplied from the pay meter, and the washing machine plugged into the socket.
So...I haven't changed any accessories with the exception of adding a fused spur and I haven't extended the circuit, I've just altered the order. If anything, I've improved the circuit, with the addition of a fused spur, and the socket now can't be used unless you put coins in the meter.
So..is this notifiable??
