In one of our bathrooms we have a japanese style toilet with bidet/dryer and a electric motor bath.
The electrician installed it with an isolating transformer Carroll & Meynell 3000VA Intermittent Isolation Transformer 230V/230V - Screwfix - https://www.screwfix.com/p/carroll-meynell-3000va-intermittent-isolation-transformer-230v-230v/320hv.
The transformer is buzzing away and is hot to touch even when not under load.
Is this the correct way to supply power to the electric components in the bathroom?
