Hi All,

Wondering if someone could clarify/advise on the following.
Firstly to clear up the requirements of isolator requirements for an electric shower, inside/outside the room, distance from shower etc?

Another scenario, an instantaneous water heater is being used to feed basin and shower mixer in a new wet room as no hot water feed present.
The heater will be sited either in loft above room or on back side of one of the walls which will be the garage.
Now the customer wants a switch local to the unit, but should it actually be in loft space or garage so that equipment can be isolated when working on?

Are the requirements of the regs to ocver emergency switching or switching for maintenance?

Many thanks
