Would a tp-n ISOLATOR be CONNECTED DIRECTLY IN THE MACHINE, OR IS THERE A SOCKET IN BETWEEN THEM

Just in general I have an assignment and on the drawings there are 32amp tp-n isolators in a commercial premises
I'm just wandering are the machines connected to the isolator or do I need to mention that the isolator connects to a.plug then the machine

The use of a plug and socket is for ease of disconnection, so if the machine is likely to be moved about a lot then yes you can fit a plug and socket between it and the isolator.

If the machine is fixed and bolted to the floor, then there is no need in a design situation to have one, unless the designer insists on it due to safety concerns.
