Has anybody installed an IT system where the means of protection is by fault limiting impedance I have been asking around cant find anyone with experience of them. Any help appreciated.:indian_brave:

What did you want to know about installing an IT system ?? Best explain first, what your doing and where?? Is this in a medical application, or industrial??

From the little I know about them they are quite specialised.
Insulation resistance monitoring devices, buzzers for the first fault.
Not something I know a lot about.

As I understand them they are used in locations where continuity of supply is an absolute priority rather than automatic disconnection of supply.

Well it one of those things that just bug me because whoever I ask about them does nt know anything. It is like asking for directions in London everyone is not from round here-nobody knows anything, thats just weird! I just want to know just incase I bump into one I can be ready for it!:speechless:
