Just thought I would post up a few photos for the trainee's of one of my customers factory, it is an heat treatment company.some of the furnaces run at 1,500 degrees
so it can get unbearable at times. I am currently testing the place while it is on shutdown for the week.
Thought it might make a change from pictures of ceiling roses and white clean sockets.

Looks totally different to what I am use to haha dont think I would know where to start, it does look very intresting though also if get any pics of the main board post them as id love to see it

Baker at the moment there is a power board with a 630amp incomer this only as 3 subs coming off it, one of which is an old busbar chamber that then feed all the sub-boards 7 in total, if I remember next week I will get a photo of another factory which is a bit meatier 2000 amps coming in.

And I thought our factory was hot last week! How did you get your bonding clamp round that gas pipe though mate?

It has a large bolt welded to it for the bonding to be lugged on.

I have seen it done though , several clamps linked together to get round the large pipes.

Looks like a good job there GMES. I agree on the domestic side of the trade; I'd go stir crazy in about a month doing just house bashing. Last week we were doing IR imaging at the forge where my boss did his apprenticeship, two induction furnaces each with a 2.5MVA Tx, plus several more ~300KVA around the site, serious electricity :)

It would be nice to see some photos, if you get chance pop some on the thread!
