... about 2/3 of a roll of red/black T&E 2.5mm. So do I :-

a) Weigh it in on the next tat run.

b) Put it on eBay for DIY/Cowboys to do work without certs.

c) Save it for posterity and occaisionally gaze wistfully at it muttering "I remember when ..."

d) Cut it into short lengths and use it to clip cable on uneven surfaces.

I wouldn't feel comfortable about doing that on a customer's job. Just looks a bit rough IMHO using old cable and charging for new stuff.

I could use it on some of the work I need to do at home, but by the time I get round to that I'll probably have some 'old colours' T&E in blue and brown.

I would use it and sleeve it. Don't worry about charging it out as you must have bought it at some point ??
It's just taken you longer to "sell" it than planned !!

I had a roll of 10mm2 T+E from the 90's, I weighed it in about 6 months ago and got approximately twice what I paid for it. I bought it in Wickes too.

I just wish I knew then, what I know now and I would no longer be working.
