I've lost track of whats happening with the digressions, is there likely to be a cut in Jan or are we back in the realms of making it up as we go along?

No, the FiT is becoming more and more irrelevant, as it should be.....the sooner people think less about ROI and focus more on energy efficiency/management and reduced reliance on the grid, the better imo

Agreed. But they wont upgrade fast enough. Many areas are saturated already. We're seeing more and more export limiting solutions being required, whether basic "export limit reached, switch off units" control or more sophisticated closed-loop monitoring and throttling back of the inverters (stepped or proportional control dependent on measured consumption)

WPD have approved a closed-loop monitoring and control system we did recently for a client (sub 50kWp). They are also familiar with the larger-scale closed-loop system we offer with consumption metering and automatic feed-in (export) management via inverter's RS485 comms. Curious - what sort of design concept did you submit?
