Job hunt

So after college the day fancied taking a wander to a company to put my CV in.. they wernt taking anyone.. so wandered back and seen another "electrical" place which turned out to be a wee shop, so went in and asked if they knew anyone looking for apprentices.
Had a chat with the guy for a wee while and another chap walks in who we'd just been speaking about, so he took my number and said if he has some work he'll give me a call, pretty good result for just taking a wander into a random shop :sorcerer:

Put a few CV's out no real results yet though :S

Best of luck to you mate. Have a ring around companies in your area as well, this is how i landed my first job to start my apprenticeship.

One thing to be wary of though IMO is employers who promise they can offer the range of work required to compete the NVQ but in reality can't offer such work.

Be persistent and you will surely land something suitable.

If you are determined and keep trying it will all come good in the end.
