Hi

I need to move a break glass if the cable is short whats the best way to join them?

does the join have to be fire rated as well?

Yes the join needs to be fire rated also.

Personally i would use a galv 2 spout conduit box with lid and glands, then either use ferrules of porcelain connector blocks inside
