Joints in cables

Are joints in cables allowed in inaccessible places?!

Yes,if they are permanant joints (soldered,crimped)

Thats what I had hoped, the answers I had were:

a) As long as you know where they are (I guess they had to have 4 answers)
b) As lomng as they are screwed terminals
c) As long as they are soldered
d)As long as they are tight
