A client has a 3 phase incoming supply as in picture 200amp head
160a fuses as fitted by dno when 100a kept blowing on startup of irrigation pump (60hp) 129a start up added to normal daily load of 30a per phase as you can see its a direct load meter rated at 20-120 aamps we feel he should have ct metering and appropriate switch gear, but it dno's meter and fuses so I guess it's upto them

Why change the meter? As I recall direct reading meters tend to loose out on over current.

Wondering 2 things how long will it stand over current and what If a fuse goes and dno decide actually they won't fit 160a again
