hi all and thank you for knowledge and humour/banter shared.
as you know, i am a new member still in the 'honeymoon period'. i enjoy reading posts, opinions, banter and peoples interpretation of regs. i must say i am a little surprised at how often thread posts manage to refer to peoples' qualifications and method achieved. my thought is this; in a world, where increasingly, 'it's someone elses fault' (e.g. where there's blame, there's a claim), insurance companies etc. need a ready supply of 'covered' persons to lay blame upon. i remember being told about losses, for example, at a supermarket due to freezers failing, the first thing they want to know is 'who carried last works out?' in order to claim from their insurers. also, did the rise of quick access to installation qualifications immediately follow part p legislation? if so, why? mostly, i think, members are directing their frustration at the wrong party/parties.
thanks for reading
