Just been beaten on a price for a new house

Priced for a new, three story house the other day. Down lights, ventilation system, alarm. Had to be done in LSF the works.

Just been told i haven't got the job, someone else has quoted £1800 all in.

No way a proper job can be done at that price I'd suspect.

Let them know that they can count on you when it goes wrong (for a price, of course).

The strange thing is they told him it was £---- for test cert. Does that mean they cannot sign off there own jobs?

Probably someone that works for a firm, can nick the materials from there.

Lost out on a job last year to someone like that. I'd priced and said it would be done within a 2 week period (unoccupied house). Spark that did it took almost 3 months!
