Well, the day has arrived. You won't have known this, but I lost my dear wife at the beginning of March, and it's been tough, but tonight, my son, her stepson announced to the world that Morven Mary Ellen Lewis, my first grandchild, had entered the world. Tomorrow, I'll go to the Garden of Remembrance to tell Brenda all about it, then I'll prepare to spoil Morven rotten.

Congratulations on the birth of your grandchild. My wife's mother died 1 week before we found out my wife was pregnant - wish she was still here to see him, she'd have made a cracking nana.

My own old man has 6 grand bairns .all different personality wise.
common thread to them all is they all love their grandad big time!
his best mate has 20 grandkids. He can't remember all their names at times so they all get called son and hen!
