Hello mate, got the date for mine, 29th June, papping it a little as I dont do a lot of testing, and the written part scares me a little. How did you think you got on?

Andy here (Yr 1 Saltash, now Yr 3 Worcester)

I did my 302 a month ago...easy peezy, apart from a schoolboy error on the PIR Exam. Got my EIC Test exam tomorrow....
Written 302 was basics of naming Test Meters, Tools reqd for testing, sequence of testing, completing a PIR & EIC in combination with 2x Practical exams.

PIR:
3hrs to find 9 faults on domestic circuit with a sub board. Explain fault & advise on method to correct. Complete BS7671 PIR Cert.

EIC:
2hrs to complete dead tests, live tests inc RCD Disconnection & Functional Tests and EIC BS7671 Cert

In conjunction with this will have 2x written papers to sit which I have about 2 months to prep for...
