Are you missing going on a merry-go-round??
I still go on them all the time.. But I prefer going on the swings.

Since nothing happens , no one flys off at the handle/angle ... They are a pair of opposing forces that cancel each other

Ever swung the bucket of water around in a circle, and not lost any?
One is the force on the bottom of the bucket, whilst the other is the red line on your hand:)

You get a less than favourable reception, when you substitute the bucket, for a carry-cot,with your toddler in it...

Both my lads,as babies, loved to demonstrate their mammalian grip response,by hanging from me mum's dining room curtain pole...

I say loved...endured,maybe;)

if you twirl the bucket round in a vertical plane and suddenly let go at it's apogee, it will go straight up and then straight down again, thus proving that the earth is flat, and does not rotate. if it did rotate, the bucket would land a finite distance away.
