Just answered the phone to an Asian guy who told me he was from Microsoft. Apparently there's been a lot of problems reported from my computer. Now I've had these calls many times before and I've always played along with things, winding the caller up, but this time I went for a different approach. 'Ah, it must be to do with all the ---- on my PC' I said. This threw him a bit, so I carried on discussing how I'm always downloading ---- and this must be the problem. There was a change in tone from the other end and he started asking me what sites I use. I started rattling off web sites 'that a friend of mine' uses. He even had me phonetically spelling out the web sites so that he had the right URL. He then started telling me about how he prefers long ---- films rather than the usual 10-15 minute ones. Then he went on to football and we ended up talking F1. He didn't even bother with the 'Microsoft' scam, he just said goodbye and went. So, right now there's an Asian guy logging in to various new ---- sites that he's found out about instead of scamming people.
