Back in Scotland after 23 years in Perth WA, worked 20 years in the power sector for defence, additional experience in industrial pumping systems. I have C and G 236 I and II, HV experience and an Australian qualification in Instrumentation.

I live in Edinburgh and I am seeking work in similar fields or renewables.

What employment agencies would you guy suggest to find work, happy with short term atm.

Maze 8 is an agency that I have used in the past, they specialise in HV work.
There is a lot of renewable/utility work going on in Scotland just now so you should pick up something. Try companies such as NRS, Kirby or Balfour Beatie.

Oh is that what all the works are beside the A1?

Yes, NNG windfarm is off St Andrews, but the 220kV cables come ashore at Torness. The cables then go up into the hills to connect into the 400kV system at Crystal rigg SS.
