Hi, I'm new to the forum but I have been monitoring it for a few weeks and I am finding it's extremely good and friendly.

I served an electrical apprenticeship with the MOD when I left school but left the trade after 6 years to go into sales and make some money!

I've now seen the error of my ways(?!) and I am retraining with Trade Qualified. I completely agree with the many comments on here about 'short courses', they do not compare to an apprenticeship, but for someone changing career there aren't many options!

A big thank you to everybody for the really good advice that is posted on the forum!
