Kewtech KT71 or Seaward primetest 100

I still havent decided which tester to buy, but decided on the following two
KT71
Primetest 100

I see the KT71 is mains powered, but the Primetest 100 doesnt have 250v test. Which is the best?
ANyone used both?

Get yourself a Seaward Supernova Plus. It'll do everything 'cept make you a cuppa tea!!

We have prime test 100 at work its ok But if you test lots then get a tester you can download will save you loads of time.

I use a prime test 100 at work, not fond of it. In fact i think it's pretty crap although it does the job.

depnds on your testing, they will both gwet you started probably max 80 items a day....... i have kt71 and made up my own leads

Can't fault the KT71, its never let me down and is easy to use and fast.

Don't know whether you're buying new or not, but I'd hang around ebay for a while. I picked up a Fluke 6500 for about £250 a while ago which is far better than spending the same money on the KT71 or Seaward new. However, that also does assume you only want to do 240v items and no flash testing. I had a Supernova for a couple of years because I thought I should have a tester that did everything, reality was that I never tested a 110v device or had the need to flash anything.
