Just thinking about a kitchen circuit, How close would i be pushing a 32a rfc with washing machine, dishwasher, and two double sockets (likely to use kettle and toaster at the same time ) would 2x A3 circuits be more sensible?

Pushing a 32A rfc? Seems like you are refering to a small kitchen. I doubt you'd have any problems at all with a 20A/2.5 radial.

Consensus seems to be that a whole kitchen is fine on a 32a circuit, (excluding cooker of course)

washer 10amp
dishwasher 10amp
kettle 13amp
toaster 10 amp
convection microwave - 10amp
tumble dryer - 10amp

total - 63amp, which potentially could easily all be used at the same time? (christmas day scenario). In reality, is it rare for such a setup to trip an mcb.

If I suggested that lot to my ex on a Christmas day my biggest problem would be “How the hell do I get out of this washing machine”!

Come on use common sense (and diversity).

I run mine on a 6A breaker.

Quadruple that load then it might need thinking about.
