kitchen dado

a customer has requested dado trunking in his kitchen. He has solid walls, wants minimum damage ie no chasing and has a kitchen worktop and cupboards already fitted. The dado will house 2 x 2.5mm twin and earth cables and a 6mm twin and earth. Does anyone have any ideas of a suitable product.

That sounds horrid! Why not use wedge sockets!

not something i have heard of either. does it come with the cable enclosure. do you have any links for them

First link I found with them through a google search so you may be able to get them cheaper

Just run the cables underneath the kitchen cupboards and drill them through the worktop , fish up the back of he cupboards . And hey presto !!

Is there a gap behind the units? If so pull the skirting off the bottom of the units and run up to the style of sockets above. No trunking

Too expensive? Do the same thing using regular surface gear and a small length of trunking underneath

This way will be cheaper than dado trunking!!!
