Currently planning a new rewire for my kitchen and want to get things right first time when it comes to appliances consumptions and circuits.
Unfortunately I don't have the wattage of appliances as some not bought all yet but will go for worst case to be safe.
the oven will be on its own 16amp radial circuit and the hob will be on its own dedicated 32amp radial circuit.
that leaves in the kitchen a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and sockets for toaster and kettle aswell as typical kitchen worktop appliances.
We will have a separate utility room which will be housing a washing machine and dryer.
do you think it would be wise to have the utility on its own dedicated 20amp radial circuit (or would 20amp not be enough) and have the kitchen appliances/sockets on a 32amp ring circuit? Or would both the kitchen and utility be OK on the 32amp ring?
Thanks
Andy
