I hope someone can help me with this one:

Installing a new kitchen (starting on Monday hopefully!) but I do have a question about the wiring.

Present: One stand-alone cooker/oven wired in to a 'standard' cooker socket with two switches, one for the cooker and one for the socket (looks like this one at the bottom of this page: Wiring electric appliances in domestic premises (UK))

Future: New worktop electric cooker and a separate oven going underneath. The crux is that I have also added a slim line dishwasher that need to plug into the same source.

The question is: Will there be enough power for these three appliances powering it from where the current cooker is plugged into and secondly, if this is the case, what kind of extension lead should be used?

Hope the above makes sense and your help is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Firstl the supply to the ckr cu will not be suitable for all three,
The oven wll proberbly be in the region of 2 / 2.5 kw the hobb ( Im assuning electric ) will be 3/4 Kw ( this coukld be substantially more ) dishwasher 3kw

May I suggest you obtain the actual ratings of the apps and then determine loads, suitable isolation etc.
