Can anyone please advise me on the minimum depth of unit/cupboard in a kitchen that a socket can be fixed to to power say a dishwasher or an oven?

Also is it essential to HR flex to an oven or is 6mm sufficient? I personally think HR flex and 2.5 will carry 25A and will cover most ovens I've worked on.
