Hello,
Called to a friends house that had nuisance RCD trip and would not reset, upon arriving I traced the fault to a single switch very close the the sink in the kitchen, they had just tried to use the switch as an FSU and terminal blocked the cables there because they was apparently too short, oh and btw it was a 16mm metal clad box and they jammed it back in, upon returning the electricity supply, BANG! the RCD tripped and the socket MCB, ouch when I took it off there was black, all over 2 terminals and the FCU, the cable had fell out of an live terminal and fell onto a neutral terminal, BANG!!!!
Thanks
Callum
