Hi
I've been looking into starting working for myself doing domestic installation work, i'm currrenty working for a building maintenance firm doing commercial work, i was recently asked if i would like to wire an extention to a freinds parents house, as i am not part of an approved contractor scheme yet (looking at nic dis) i told the house owner to check with his labc that if i did the work and it was inspected at the correct stages, and i tested the installation and provided the test results, that the labc could then sign of the work,
the reply the owner got was that the work had to be signed of by a "qualified electrician", i've yet to confirm what he ment, but it was my understanding that as long as the conditions above were and part p were conformed to then the labc could sign off the work, not sure of this is just a breakdown in communications or if the labc is trying to make his life easier,
