What are people using for labeling on jobs?
I've used simple thermal dymo labellers before which have been ok.

A variety of options, I tend to avoid the expensive pre printed labels and prepare my own.
I use a thermal printer (black on white) for some CU labelling, I also use 17.8*10mm paper labels laser printed.
For the bigger labels high tack adhesive labelling, plastic in poor conditions, all laser printed by me.
I have a stock of various label sizes ready to be prepared and set up for the appropriate purpose.

Can't beat Brother for label printers.

Dymo Rino tapes for me, much better then the standard tapes.

Or laser ingraving for anything that needs to last.

Screw fix trade side electric fix has got brother e550 label printer kit for about £80. Which seems a steal

I thought it was a requirement for labels to last the life of the system. After all labels that have dropped off are of little use to anyone. Brother machine for me with high quality tape.

How do you know how long a system will last? Self adhesive labels arguably don't last forever.

I had a Dymo Rhino until recently when I was offered a free trade-in for an all singing all dancing XTL500. Only problem is the cost of the tape.

So bought a Brother PT-100VP from screwfix for about £20. The machine, case, PSU and roll of tape was cheaper than a reel of 12mm tape for the XTL. OEM tape for the brother, of Amazon very cheap. Highly recommend the Brother.

I'd like a machine that prints the warning labels as well, I've looked at the brother machines but they don't print large enough labels for warning notices?
