I'm changing a CU (with other work) and one of the rings feeds the shed at the bottom of the garden. It's 2.5 T&E which runs from the CU into the ceiling, down the kitchen wall, then into the floor slab using corrogated plastic conduit. From there it runs underground for about 30 metres too the shed (and back as it's a ring!) where there are four double sockets and it's all covered by a rewireable 30 amp fuse. So as you can imagine the figures are poor, (calcs and readings) as is the mechanical protection etc.

So, I've explained all this to the customer (just bought the house) and I'm not reconnecting the ring when I fit the new CU. This is getting noted on the paperwork, but I wondered what other folks do about labelling/making off the cable? My current intention is to make off the ends into a JB screwed to the wall above the CU and stick a label on it saying what they were. Any better ideas?
