hi

this installation was carried out in the 1995 ish

advice please on what code should be issused for a server room and also floor sockets (althought server room and floor room are on sepearate circuits) wired in 2.5 / 1.5 TW&E as radials with no high integrity earth i.e only one earth conductor.

the floor socket circuits have about twelve pc pluged in !

and also there is wall sockets with ring circuits with PC's pluged in with no double earth terminals on the socket outlets.

any advice welcome

You first need to check the total earth leakage current on each of these circuits, they may need a separate suitably sized earth conductor to be run in. Not having the appropriate data in front of me, i'll leave to others, the parameters you need to be working too!!

thanks E54
anyone else with to help me out with more in fo on the observation code

I'm sure someone posted a guidance note on ''High Integrity'' earthing requirements not so long ago. Check the similar threads at the bottom of this page, One of those threads may have that link, or can help you via the posts....

Gemini Fire Management are specialist suppliers of fire Gas suppression systems and water leak detection systems for high value risk areas. Gas suppression system clients include major banks and IT companies.

I'm a little confused here, ...What has ''Room Integrity'' got to do with high integraty earthing?? This is to do with room sealing for gas supression systems...

More spam crap is it???
