Hi Guys,
I've been having this problem with a lighting circuit in my living room. There's the main light/lamp in the center of the ceiling and then the are two light fittings on the wall, each with two lamps fitted. The lamp furthest away from the switch seems to flicker alot and we tend to have to replace it regularly (3-4 weeks). We only use the lights at night time for a few hours a day and none of the other lamps need to be changed as regularly.
I also noticed that my PC's power supply makes a high pitched buzzing sound once it is turned on and under pressure (I've checked the usual culprets eg. fan bearings and hard drive seating).
We have quite an old boiler fitted and it seems to be make a considerable amount of noise and distorts the digital TV signal (we have a booster adaptor in the mains socket) whenever there is alot of activity coming from the boiler.
Can anyone suggest what action I should take to try and resolve the problem?
Can I buy an adaptor the filter my PC's power supply?
I've have a bit of electrical knowledge but no sparks special equipment.
Thank you.
