Large Barn Earthing Metalwork

The building is supplied with a 6mm swa and only includes 4 double sockets and 8 lights. The steelwork has to be earthed but in what size? Never wired a building like this before ie with the steelwork. Anything else I need to know about regs wise?

whats the barn used for, is it on a farm, is livestock to be housed in the barn?

Cheers. It's not on a farm but about a quarter of the barn/shed will hold about 5 sheep!

Just found out the supply has already been put in and it's 4mm swa. Someone told me it should be a 10mm earth?!

Supplementry Bonding Conductors for Agricultural and Horticultrial locations can be 4mm^ providing they are protected from both mechanical damage and corrosion, avoid electrolytic effects and are copper. (reg 705.544.2)
