Large floor tile adhesive help

Hi all,
My 1st post and just wanting some help/reassurance on a DIY bathroom refurb.

I’m putting down 800x800x10mm porcelain floor tiles. Floor area is 2m x 2.7m, 18mm chipboard. I added loads of noggins, glued and screwed down the boards and have over-boarded with Marmox 10mm on Keraquick (no latex), screwed at 300mm centres. It was rock solid with no signs of deflection (jumping up and down/glass of water etc!). Then, because I wanted to make up floor levels aiming to have a near level access shower tray, (and also because I’d read lots about it here), I went with Ditra on keraquick. Complete overkill I’m sure.

Now I’m coming to lay the floor tiles, I’ve got them all cut and dry laid. Was going to continue with keraquick (12mm notched trowel) onto the Ditra. But thinking…
  1. I’d prefer to use something slower setting, just in case. Could I switch to Keraflex Maxi or should I stick with Kerquick?
  2. If Keraquick, do I need latex, and should I have used it so far in the floor prep? I’d read here somewhere that small area, minimal deflection, not essential?
When it comes to walls, I’ve got ceramic 900x300x10 onto marmox (again, really well fixed). Was planning on Keraflex Maxi for these?

Any help greatly appreciated 👍
Dave
