Just after some info if thats ok?
At my place of work we are getting a large heater for the workshop area its a 63amp 3 phase 43KW thing.
when they say 63amp is that 21amp multiplied by the 3 phases or is it 63 x 3 phases?

we have a company comming in who are fitting a 63amp socket with switch under the fuse board, but during lunch today we all got chatting about it with one of our lads (not me before the micky takink starts) who is a dabbler in all trades and he was trying to explain where the 43KW comes from & that it will mean a new supply if its 63amp on each phase. All i shall say is it is easier making gates & panels than your electrical stuff seems to be.

At least it will be a warmer winter in the sheds this year.

Need a bit more info from you ie heater make, load etc etc
But if they are coming to fit a 63amp socket and switch then thats what is most likely needed (leave it to thos that supply and install)
Enjoy the heat :)

Thats the one we've been shown.
Dont worry wood is my thing so wires & stuff is well outside my scope & capabilities.............unless it's electric stock fencing on a battery.

Forum will not let me put a link up sorry.
