i've got to replace a board, it's in a stupid location (behind a garage door frame) and wants moved about 4 foot to the left. half of the circuits come throught the back of the board along with the tails and the other half are clipped to the black wall and go up.

ideally i want an enclosure thats the similar size to a 10 way board, with a row of connector strips along it so i can bring all the original wiring in and then out the bottom run some new cables to the new CU, and henley block the tails. sort of like a central heating wiring centre but a bit bigger. is there anything like this? i can't find anything in any of my catalogues!

you could use an enclosure with backplate mount a din-rail or buy one will it already in and use dinrail mounted connectors, it should have a door or lid that requires a tool to open it and a warning label something like- multiple circuits isolate at ??? before opening.
These can be expensive so cheapest option is plastic adaptable box and mount din-rail in - most electrical wholesalers will keep lots of different sizes, if your trying to match the old board exactly then get some plastic or metal to math old board and fit it to old board cover to block the holes and use existing board as your terminal box.
