Struggling to find anything about this....

how you would identify the cores of a 4 core MI cable and then label them for use with a three phase load

Ok ill give you this one but hionnestly mate you really need to start to try and figure answers out before asking for your own sake.

Bend each core back against the sheath at supply end, simple coninuity test at load end testing between each core and sheath will identify them, sheath as required.

if you are using 4 cores them it must be a 4 wire 3ph load, so label the 3 cores brown, black grey and one as neuteral (Blue)

Sheath is always eart so use a earth tail pot

i know mate, these were only 2 of the 32 i got wrong that i couldnt work out.... out of 300 questions, so it could have been far worse!! lol
but thanks! i never realised it was as simple as that, one of them questions that seems to obvious to be right :/

Glad i can help!, i wasnt having a dig mate but we do get quite a few guys on here expecting the guys to do their homework for them.

if you g rasp the basics you can normally figure the more complex stuff out
