LED dimmer switch

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a good dimmer for LED down lights?
I've heard mk do a grid dimmer which is compatible with LED dimmable lamps....
Any opinions/experiences would be great fully received.

What make of led down lights ? - often the manufactures make recommendations!

Customer supplied them... And leave me to sort the rest out. They got them off the internet. Green company...? Or something like that....

Would normally agree until a few weeks ago when i had a call back to some ELAN Led fittings we had installed controlled by the varilight dimmer, every so often they would give a strobing effect, one call to ELAN and they informed us that we needed to use a standard leading edge dimmer, swapped over now all ok

so yes as above it all depends on what the manufacturer specs, tell the customer if they want them dimming they had better get onto the company where they bought them from

I hate it when customers buy their own materials and expect us to keep calling back when it go's wrong!

Is the customer certain that they have bought dimmable LED's??

Yes, they are certain. They do dim.... But at a certain point just flash...
