yep, all i can find are 12V , 24V, and the occasional 48V.

This is a constant-current driver of 300mA output. Any unit with equal or wider voltage range will replace it, or indeed any unit that includes in the range whatever the forward voltage of the actual string is. If you search for 300mA driver you get some hits, such as this:
