Led driver

Might be a silly question but, on a constant current led driver for example 700ma is this the max current drawn on the output side whether 1,2,3 or however many led are connected, only reason I ask is because I saw some LEDs connected with cat 5 and wondered if that was ok to do?!

as long as the cable will cope with the voltage and current requirements, then it's OK.

Yeah this is what Got me thinking, if its a constant current driver is it just drawing 700ma (or whatever rating) on the secondary side

There are some LED kits around that come with Cat5e patch cords to interconnect the LED fittings
