I have installed 10W and 70W ROBUS fittings, i'd recommend them, they come with a 5 year guarantee too...

10W was a bit of drop in the ocean at night, ok for lighting a small area I suspose.

I go for Heathfield LED for all my LED products the floodlights and High bays they do are top quality, they use top quality drivers and chips and the quality is superb, I found them to be alot cheaper than alot of other companies.

i would aalso like to light up a building , was thinking metal halide with red lamps.. the building is 10m high and will be mounted ontop of the shutter cage to the wall going vertical up, slight angle..

there is 2 sets of windows on the building so will require 3 fittings.. cheers i would also like to put these on an easy set timmer

Can't say I've herd of any coloured LED floods other than the 10w flavour (100w gashogen equivalents) ones TLC sell

I'd personally go with a photocell for the switching if light pollution is not a issue

so how does this look to you? 10m high building with 2 window lines in the building, leaving me 3 lines on the building i can light up.

3 x 150w metal halide (red bulbs) to be mounted across shutter cage (3m from ground) between window positions and secured to wall.

blah blah blah de blah wish i wasnt half a spark

I wouldn't go for coloured lamps in halogen, I would go for either a coloured filter in the fitting or go for a coloured LED flooflight,LED will give you a more direct light which I think is a better solution for your project as the beam angle is smaller

When the prices come down more I'm going to light my house up, but will put a colours filter loop in front with a small motor so that the house changes colour every few seconds - should make the locals take notice :lightbulb:
